How it works
Before we hand over the keys
The briefing
Before handing the boat over we go round it together: controls, safety equipment, anchoring points and the sailing area.
The boating licence
It is required, and it is the first condition: the BSC 78 is a large RIB, and the law requires a licence to helm it. Bring it with you on the day along with photo ID.
The deposit
A deposit is required, and we return it in full on handover if the boat comes back as it left. We tell you the amount when you book, so you know everything before confirming.
The fuel
It is not included in the rate: it is charged separately according to how much you use, and we settle up together when you return.
How we work
Before you book
- Cancellation and refund
- You can cancel up to 48 hours before departure, for a tour as much as for a hire, and we return the full amount.
- If the mistral gets up
- When the mistral blows hard Mari Pintau is out of reach: the morning tour stays behind the Sella del Diavolo and the price drops from €70 to €50 per person.
- If the sea is not safe
- In a strong sirocco or bad weather we do not sail: we move the date or refund you in full. Safety on board comes before the programme.

An unforgettable boat tour and one of the highlights of our stay in Cagliari! Everything was exceptionally well organized. The organizer was welcoming, attentive, and professional, and the boat was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The itinerary included stops at Sella del Diavolo, Cala Fighera, Calamosca, Cala Bernat, and Poetto. We discovered breathtaking coves and coastal spots, some of which cannot be reached by land, making the experience feel truly special.
