Cookie policy
Ultimo aggiornamento: Last updated: 30 July 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the site uses, what they are for, and how you can change your mind at any time. For the processing of personal data in general, see the Privacy policy.
Nothing starts without your consent
On your first visit a banner appears: you can accept everything or open Customise, where you choose the individual categories and also find the button to decline everything. Until you decide, the statistics and marketing tools stay off: they write no cookies and do not identify you. Closing the site without answering also counts as a refusal.
The site can be read in full even if you decline: no content depends on accepting cookies. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we respect it: consent stays denied and the banner does not even appear.
The categories
Technical. The site installs no cookies of its own. The choice you make in the banner is kept in the browser's local storage (localStorage, entry msboat_cookie_consent): it saves asking you for consent on every page and lets us show when and how you gave it. It stays on your device, is sent to no one, and expires after 180 days, after which you are asked again.
Statistics. Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to know how many people visit the site, where they come from and which pages they read. With your consent it installs first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) lasting up to two years.
Marketing. Google Ads, to measure the results of advertising campaigns and possibly show you adverts consistent with the pages you have visited. These cookies too are installed only with your consent.
What happens if you decline
We use Google's Consent Mode in advanced mode: the Google Tag Manager container loads straight away, but with every consent denied. This means that, even if you decline, your browser contacts Google's servers (googletagmanager.com) and may send measurements without cookies and without identifiers: page visited, time of visit, browser type and IP address, which Google uses in aggregate to estimate traffic. No data is linked to you as a person and nothing is written to your device.
Where the data ends up
The controller of these tools is Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to the United States on the basis of the Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How to change your mind
You can reopen the banner at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the foot of every page: withdrawing costs exactly one click, just as granting does. Alternatively you can clear cookies from your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
What this site does not do
- it does not load typefaces from external services: the fonts are served from our own servers;
- it embeds no maps, videos or social widgets, which would install cookies of their own;
- the WhatsApp buttons are ordinary links: they load no Meta code and communicate nothing until you click them.
Server logs
Like any site, the servers record the technical data of connections (IP address, time of request, browser type) for operational and security reasons. These are not cookies and are not used to profile you.
